Just a couple of months after releasing “Here With Me,” there’s some tension between Scottish band CHVRCHES and American producer Marshmello. But why? It’s all about who people associate with.

After collaborating with CHVRCHES, Marshmello released a collaboration with Chris Brown and Tyga on “Light It Up.” See below… Fair warning, it’s explicit.

CHVRCHES’ concerns are based on Tyga and Chris Brown’s domestic abuse incidents. They posted the following statement earlier this week:

Chris Brown had a rather aggressive response to the band’s disappointment and called the band “simple minded peasants” and adding that he wished they would walk “in front of a speeding bus full of mental patients.”
