Did you really go to the state fair if you didn’t visit the oinks in the Swine Barn? I guess it depends on who you are… but it’s a must-stop for my Hoosier fam.
The current Swine Barn is a open-air building that gets most (if not all) of its use during the fair every summer. Indiana state Fairgrounds officials say there’s a plan to replace the building with one that is climate-controlled and can bring in revenue all year long. The existing building will be demolished and replaced completely with a “Fall Creek Pavilion.”
The project will cost about $50 Million and work could start after the 2020 State Fair. See photos of the new building from CBS4Indy.
