All that time you spend putting together the perfectly entertaining/funny/educational TikTok could finally be paying off. Literally. According to The Shade Room (TSR), there’s a new $200M fund from TikTok that would be distributed to creators. They’re calling it the Creator Fund. Didn’t see that one coming, huh?
In order to get paid from the fund, you’ll have to put in an application and you must be 18 years or older. The money will go to those who consistently post original content on the app, so you’re probably out of luck if you just like to do the dances other people have already made up.
TSR says the fund will go out over this year and it’s expected to grow over time.
