The world’s first socially distanced arena show is a wrap.

It went down in England Tuesday with indie musician Sam Fender at The Virgin Money Unity Arena in Newcastle. The arena used to be a horse track and now has a bunch of “pods” several feet apart so you’re away from other groups.

It’s definitely not your standard concert vibe, but at this point a concert is a concert. Oh and fans got to preorder their food and drinks which means no standing in line, and now that I have glimpsed that future, there’s no going back. (Pics and videos are here.)
