In hopes of drawing in viewers who may not normally tune into the Democratic National Convention, the organizers have set up performances from an array of big-name artists. According to CBS News, the DNC will run from Monday 8/17 to Thursday 8/20 and will feature performances of the national anthem, some American classic, and some new songs from:
- Billie Eilish
- John Legend
- Billy Porter
- Common
- The Chicks
- Jennifer Hudson
- Maggie Rogers
- Leon Bridges
- Prince Royce
- Stephen Stills
It’s particularly cool for Billie Eilish is just old enough to vote. She has been particularly vocal about the responsibility of voting and making your own voice heard.
