SNL returned last night complete with a live audience. The front section, in fact, was all first responders being celebrated for their hard work during the pandemic. Of course, the show highlighted the first presidential debate. Chris Rock was comforting and funny in talking about the state of the nation. But Megan Thee Stallion GAVE ME CHILLS with her performance of “Savage.”
The stage served as a giant billboard to say “PROTECT BLACK WOMEN” and her song was accompanied by an ode to do just that. It was moving and powerful. I could only hope it gives some hope back to everyone after what happened to Brionna Taylor. Watch it now!
