The story made national news with video of a Florida man rescuing his 4 month old puppy from the jaws of an alligator. The video is HERE if you have the stomach to watch it. (My dog loving bleeding heart couldn’t take it).  But now that the little buddy named Gunner is safe and back at home with his family he’s got a new gig! WTHR reported the local sheriff’s office has named Gunner an official member of the Deputy Dogs, Pets on Patrol program. That means he will get to go to classrooms and help teach kids about all different types of safety. HOPEFULLY especially gator safety. 🙂
