I just finished a crazy trip to Gatlinburg Tennessee where I spent the weekend with a bunch of friends in a cabin and on Friday night my friends and I saw a huge bear directly in front of our cabin.

Now, I consider myself stupid… but not this stupid. My friends decided to open the door and take some photos of the bear. That’s when the bear lunged and my friends slammed the door.

WHAT THE BEAR DIDN’T KNOW THANK GOODNESS IS THAT THE DOOR DIDN’T LOCK SO ALL WE WERE DOING WAS HOLDING THE DOOR CLOSED FOR THE NEXT FEW MINUTES IN CASE THE BEAR WANTED TO TRY TO KNOCK THE DOOR DOWN.

Obviously, realistically, there’s nothing we could do if the bear legitimately wanted to come inside but we had a plan just in case he did try. It got complicated.
