Sneaky Ways To Eat More Vegetables

 

It’s not always fun to eat vegetables. I get it! But if your doctor has been on your butt about eating more healthy you can still trick yourself into adding the good stuff into your diet. Parade.com has a list of 125 different ways to sneak the vitamins into your life. Here are some of the good ones:

 

-Smoothies! You can blend spinach into a fruit smoothie and as long as you can look beyond the green color it should still pretty much taste like fruit.

-Throw vegetables on your pizza! Onions, mushrooms, banana or other peppers, spinach and don’t forget tomatoes in the sauce!

-Soups are a great way to sneak in potatoes, beans, carrots and stuff like that plus you drown them in delicious soup juice so you can get it down way easier.

-Corn on the cob! It’s summer! Corn is everyone’s jam in the summer. Grill it, steam it, make Elote! (<—- this will change your life btw- trust me!)

-Grill anything for that matter. Even lettuce- you can grill romaine and make a grilled Caesar salad!

-Taco night is an easy way to add vegetables because who eats tacos with just meat and cheese? Serial Killers. That’s who. Stack on that lettuce and onions and tomatoes!
