OnlyFans Will Ban Sexually Explicit Content

A haven for content creators or a safe place to sex work? Starting October 1, the second part won’t be allowed. According to Bloomberg, the platform needs to attract banking partners and payment providers, but there are still obvious stigmas attached to sex work of any kind including the popularized pornography that was all over the site.

Bloomberg reports that people will “still be allowed to put up nude photos and videos, provided they’re consistent with OnlyFans’ policy” — whatever that means. We’ll have to wait and see, I suppose.
