If you saw the BILLIE EILISH documentary, “The World’s a Little Blurry”, you might recall how Billie has an issue with the term “fans”.
During an appearance on “The Drew Barrymore Show” yesterday, she gave some clarification.
Billie said, “One moment I was a fan and then suddenly I was looked at as this higher up . . . even when I was 14 . . . I just make music. I think of them like literally my skin, like part of me and how I get through stuff . . . They always have my back. They are fans just as much as I am a fan but that doesn’t make them any less than me or anybody else you know?”
You can watch her interview here. The “fans” comments are 1:53 to 2:53.
