Have you ever had to pause your dating account because you’re just over it or you needed a break? Well, you may be able to do that with your Instagram soon. The head of Instagram sat down on the Today Show to talk about the “Take A Break” feature they’re working on.

The feature would allow you to somehow pause your participation on the app so that no one would be able to comment on your posts or send you DMs. That way you wouldn’t come back to missed messages — think the thousands of emails you get when you don’t get for a week. Yeah. You wouldn’t have that mess when you’re ready to come back.

You would still have to catch up on what other people were up to while you were out. That part still sucks. Can they make a feature that stops what everyone is doing so we don’t have to miss out at all? No? Okay.
