The Broadway musical movie adaptation of the 2004 film Mean Girls opens in theatres this weekend. While it’s full of some familiar storylines and faces, including a cameo by Lindsay Lohan, the most notable are Tiny Fey & Tim Meadows, reprising their roles of math teacher Ms. Norbury & Principal Duvall, respectively.
But it almost didn’t happen. Fey told People Magazine her and Meadows had one stipulation when it came to being in the movie again.
“…I called Tim and I was like, ‘Will you do it? I’ll do it if you do it.’ And we said yes, as long as we don’t have to sing.”
