Who doesn’t love a free movie? You can see one every month between May and August in downtown Indy.
Indy Film Festival is returning with Sunset Cinema on the Canal for a second year. The schedule is as follows per WTHR:
- May 16: “Grease” (PG-13)
- June 20: “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial”(PG)
- July 18: “Splash” (PG)
- Aug. 22: “Days of Thunder” (PG-13)
All of the movies are free and you can bring your own chairs, blankets and most importantly snacks. But the BEST part is, if you’re 21 or older you can pay $20 to rent an inner tube and watch the movies while floating in the canal. And two Sun King beers are included in that price.
