It’s nice to see people around the country coming together for a great cause, beer money. Carson King, a student at Iowa State, took it upon himself to ask the world for beer money during a College Game Day broadcast… Check out his sign:
.@CarsonKing2 says the total with all donations has reached $990,000. He’s watching his phone constantly waiting to see the million dollar miracle. pic.twitter.com/o7ZKJ1DvVh

After being bombarded with donations to his Venmo account, he vowed to donate the money to charity after buying a case of Busch Light, of course.
With all the donations my @CollegeGameDay sign for @BuschBeer has received, I will be donating all but enough for a case of Busch Light to @uiowa Children’s Hospital. We’re at over $1,600.00 right now! @CycloneATH @WideRtNattyLt @ChrisMWilliams Venmo Carson-King-25

But then he got a LOT more money… more than one million dollars. Busch Light and Venmo agreed to match the money raised and it would all go to University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital.
Over 1.13 Million Dollars in total contributions for @UIchildrens after @BuschBeer and @venmo match! Do you think we can hit 2 Million by the end of the month? 🤔 #ForTheKids

That’s not all though… after this incredible gesture, Busch Light honored this college student by putting his face on the freakin’ can calling him an “Iowa Legend” with a promise to send him a year’s worth of their beer.
Is it just me or is this can extremely good looking? I can’t be more humbled that @BuschBeer and @venmo are matching our contribution. We’re closing in on A Million for @UIchildrens #ForTheKids pic.twitter.com/Wuzil9Y1Qb

Moral of the story: it doesn’t hurt to ask for beer money.
