My Vacation: Part 2 (Seattle & Denver)

On Friday morning, Dalton & I woke up in Bellevue, Washington. We met up with our high school friend, Julio. He lives in the Seattle area now and he guided us around town!

The first thing we did when we got to Seattle was grab some lunch. Being a rainy day, we figured a bread bowl of Clam Soup would be the perfect fit. I 100% recommend the Crab Pot!

After we filled up on lunch, we set out to do all the touristy things Seattle has to offer. First up, The Gum Wall. As you can see in the picture below, I made my contribution.

In 1971, the first Starbucks was opened at 1912 Pike Place in Seattle. That’s why one of the coffee’s…I believe the medium roast??…is called “Pike’s Place”. So I HAD TO visit the basic girl Mecca.

I hate heights. HATE THEM. But when in Rome, right? So after Starbucks, we hit up The Seattle Great Wheel.

You get to see incredible views of The Emerald City from 175 feet.

Loved discovering a new city with some old friends. I HIGHLY recommend checking out not only Seattle, but Portland as well. You only get one life, get out there and see what the rest of the world has to offer!

We left Seattle on Saturday…and I figured since I’d have to have a layover somewhere…I’d stop in Denver. My uncle and my God son, Braeden, live just north of Denver and I’ll get hang out with them for 18-ish hours. I got to see my God son at his hockey practice.

Thank you for stopping by my blog! I hope it will inspire you to get out and travel.
