November 4th The Board of Directors of Hulman & Company announced at 11am that the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the NTT IndyCar Series and Indianapolis Motor Speedway Productions sold to Penske. According to WTHR, George said “It was an important decision we considered for a long time… We’re very proud to have come together the last several months to make a decision.”

No word yet on how much the deal ended up costing Penske. Hopefully they still have enough money left over to put seat backs on.
