A lot of folks are stuck at home right now while they practice social distancing to limit the spread of Coronavirus (aka COVID-19). That certainly gets boring and in a time like this, we could use something to lift our spirits! Christmas lights are one of those thing many look forward during the winter months and it brings a lot of cheer to the general public… So why not just put ’em up early? (Great news if you never took them down in the first place!!)
What if we all put our Christmas lights back up? Then we could get in the car and drive around and look at them. That seems like a fair social distancing activity.

So now it’s a thing. Put up your lights, so you can enjoy a little magic while you’re being responsible and staying home… and so we can look at them from a safe distance. 🙂
BUT. THAT’S. NOT. ALL! Hallmark is getting in on this fun and is rolling out a Christmas movie marathon starting tomorrow (Friday, 3/20) at noon with “A Christmas Detour” according to USA Today.
So I hope you have hot chocolate, or White Claws, or whiskey… because it’s time to curl up and get cozy. Oh! And no need to leave cookie for Santa (he’s probably stuck at home too). Just eat them yourself!
