Let’s flashback to July 22 when Tori Kelly broke the news that she had a new EP titled Solitude that would include 4 new songs along with 1 cover song. The day has finally come for the EP to be released and I couldn’t be happier to hear Tori’s angelic voice again!
Time Flies
Originally sung by Drake, Tori makes this song sound like a lullaby by adding her own riffs and flair to it. No song can go wrong with her voice and a guitar strumming in the background.
Unbothered
The perfect self-care Sunday song! Probably my favorite track off the EP, “Unbothered” talks about being brand new and changing your mindset from a negative space to a positive one. Adding it to my summer playlist as we speak!
Glad
This song is most likely about her husband as she sings “I’m glad you walked into my life / I’m glad you never said goodbye / I love when you call me your wife.” It’s such a beautiful piece and the visuals are awesome as well!
Don’t Take Me Home
Have you ever had a day that you wanted to last for ever, but instead you had to be home by 10 because curfew? Yeah I feel that and this is what “Don’t Take Me Home” makes me think of!

What! An! Anthem!! For all those that have been heartbroken or hurt, this song is for you. She sings “You don’t get to hurt me then have me / You don’t get to hold me then leave me lonely … I still know my value if I don’t have you / Still know my worth even though it hurt.”
