The MTV Video Music Awards are happening Sunday, August 30 at Barclays Center in New York like it has since 2013… But this year, it’s not just going down at Barclays Center. Instead, there will be various performances scattered in different boroughs. MTV.com says the show will celebrate New York’s resilience this year by having performances in “Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, The Bronx, and Staten Island.”
