Oh man!  I gotta get better at these little girl hair thingies.  This is my daughter, Maren, after old fat fingers daddy tried to put in pigtails with those tiny little rubber bandies that somehow mommy flings on with seamless easy.  You have to have the slender dexterity of an elf’s hand and some kind of dark magic to get these things on right.  Everyone tells me that I’ll get better at it, but guess how that’ll happen?  Me, effectively scalping my sweet child with each pass as I curl her hair into rubber band knots.  Yeah, we’ll both be crying at the end of it.
