Taylor Swift has taken Rihanna’s crown as the “Queen of Digital Era.” According to new certifications by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) Taylor has six new or refreshed certifications and now sits at 133.5 million, which is 4.5 million more than Rihanna.
The new or refreshed certifications are for “You Need to Calm Down” – 3Xs platinum “Me!” and “Lover” – 2Xs platinum and “Folklore” and “The Man” which are both now platinum.
Taylor comes in second to Drake, who has 163 million platinum or higher plaques. However, if Rihanna and Drake’s features could be counted then Drake and Riri would reign king and queen.
