2020 is a crap shoot. I don’t think any of us would deny this. But I decided my little sign at the front of the house needed a new quote. I remembered this one my mom would always tell her students as a middle school teacher: Make It A Great Day Or Not The Choice Is Yours.
We often forget that there are any number of sucky things that can happen to anyone all day long but only WE get to decide how we let it effect us. We have the power to turn anything around if we WANT to. I get it…some days we just want to pout, crawl into bed, and try again tomorrow. But if you find yourself having way more bad days than good ask yourself if maybe you’re choosing that. See if you’re able to turn it around. Eventually you’ll get better and better at it until it’s habit to try to find the positive more than the negative.
