Finally an artist who’s honest about this!

LIL NAS X was mad at BILLIE EILISH when Bad Guy beat Old Town Road for Record of the Year at the 2020 Grammys. He thought it wasn’t fair because his song was bigger, but he got over it.

He says, “I put all that energy I was feeling onto her. It became jealousy that wasn’t warranted. You have the longest-running number one song, why the [eff] are you jealous about this award? We are already so blessed. Even if you don’t have these things, you’re here. You’re still alive. You exist. You shouldn’t have any reason to be jealous.”

I have nothing but respect for him for owning up to this. Every artist who loses acts like it’s not a big deal, but you know that’s not true.
