Back to school can be a hectic time and sometimes health can fall by the wayside when you’re running kids back and forth from sports or clubs and making sure homework is done. Experts from the WashingtonPost.com say taking an “all or nothing” approach to health can be a recipe for disaster. Nobody is perfect, especially kids, so some cookies or a soda mixed in with a generally healthy lifestyle is ok. Let the kids help with grocery shopping so they feel more motivated to eat it once it’s ready. As hard as it can be sometimes to get caught up meal prepping or snack prepping can be a big help.
