Kanye West gave himself a mission to come out with the “perfect hoodie.” Did he do it?

If you go to gap.com/yeezy you’ll be put in a waiting room to order yours, but before you hit the site… check this thing out. It’s a plain one-pocket hoodie that comes in 6 colors.

Complex says these bad boys take up to 3 weeks to ship — the black one takes 6-8 weeks. So if you’re willing to be chilly in your A/C for that long, go ahead. But do you still want this thing for $90? (Kids sizes are $70.)

It looks like a substantial hoodie. However, that’s not exactly affordable, is it?

For that kind of money, I would imagine the fabric is high quality, but if you’re not worried about that you could probably hit a Walmart and get something eerily similar for $20.

Six years ago, Kanye West was still new to the fashion industry and he described raising his taste and giving back to the people. He actually told the interviewer to “mark this interview” and look at it 5 years from now…

I’m looking at it now and I’m skeptical of this “taste.” But to each their own… You can buy whatever $90 clothes you want.
