ED SHEERAN announced that he’s debuting a new project next week, but won’t give away what it is just yet.

On an appearance on a New Zealand news program called “The Project NZ” on Tuesday, he said, “I’ve got something that’s a bit more of a curveball . . . We’ve got the first thing of it dropping in 10 days” (which would be the 25th).

He also added that he doesn’t expect it to be a massive hit in New Zealand.

Could this be the metal collaboration we’ve been waiting for?  We already know that Ed is a big fan of the English metal band CRADLE OF FILTH, and he’s even communicated with the band.  I guess we’ll see very soon.
