If there’s one thing I will never forgive my parents for, it’s my incredibly boring name that can’t be turned into cool words like Lizzoverse.

Lizzo’s dropping her new album, Special, on Friday (7/15) and has the immersive cosmic light show to go with it.

She announced on Instagram (while looking good as hell. . .see what I did there. . .) “I’m not a star…. I’m a whole damn Universe! Register for this once-in-a-lifetime cosmic event… where YOU can experience my new album ‘SPECIAL’ in my intergalactic universe ALL WEEKEND LONG.”

The light shows are in New York but since things like inflation, flight delays and cancellations, and fresh babies have some of us staying home, Amazon Music will livestream the full show on Twitch at 6 pm Eastern (that’s us) the day of Special‘s release (that’s Friday).
